Marine Parks and Reserves Authority

The Marine Parks and Reserves Authority (MPRA) is the vesting authority for Western Australian marine protected areas (MPA's) reserved under the provisions of the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984.

The MPRA is a statutory body reporting to the Minister for the Environment. It was established in 1997.
