WILDCARE Helpline

Print

The Department of Environment and Conservation's WILDCARE Helpline can receive up to 30 calls a day about stranded or injured animals.

People who find sick, injured or orphaned native animals, such as parrots, kangaroos, bandicoots, seabirds, sea mammals, woylies or possums; on the sides of the road, in parks, suburbs, paddocks and forests, are often very distressed because they don't know who to call for help.
