Camps

In the Metropolitan area and the south-west of Western Australia there are a number of camp sites close to the centres where EcoEducation programs are available for schools. The camp sites are ideal locations for studies and exploration relating to biodiversity conservation.

EcoEducation provides information assisting teachers to develop an Excursion Management Plan as required by the Department of Education and Training's Excursion: Off School-site Activities Policy .

For teachers planning an excursion or camp at one of our venues there are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and our Teacher/adult to student ratios required for our excursion and camp activities.

There are camps in Dryandra Woodlands near Narrogin, at Conto's Field and Wharncliffe Mill, near Margaret River, at Wellington Discovery Forest near Collie, and at the Perth Hills National Parks Centre, Patens Brook and the Perth Hills Youth Hostel in the Metro area.
